What counts as a user? Customer limits refer to registered accounts, not simultaneous sessions. Staff accounts manage the portal. Storage, traffic and document limits are agreed separately.

What is separate? Prices are in GBP and exclude VAT where applicable. Hosting, domains, ongoing maintenance, third-party subscriptions and usage fees are separate. Integrations depend on provider access and complexity. Additional users and work outside the agreed scope are quoted before implementation.

Make the next update easy to find

For a service business, the useful questions are often simple: has my request been received, when will someone attend and what happens next? We design the portal around those moments.

  • Account access and customer-specific job status
  • Documents, quotes and completion records
  • Requests, messages and agreed notifications
  • Payment-provider links or payment workflows where scoped
Connect the customer view to the office

A portal should not create a second set of records for your staff to maintain. We assess your existing software, its API access and which system should own each piece of information before deciding how updates move between them.

Keep each customer’s information separate

Sign-in is only the beginning. We test permissions on the server so customers cannot access another account by changing a link. File access, password recovery, invitations and staff permissions are part of the scope, not finishing touches.

Launch the useful part first

A first release might cover status and documents, with payments or messaging added later. We agree the workflows, accessibility checks and customer support arrangements, then test with representative users before rollout.

What determines the price?

Portals are quoted individually. Account structure, integrations, document volumes, payment requirements and migration all affect the work. We make third-party fees and ongoing maintenance clear in the proposal.
